BCIA President Graeme Rees to chair panel at Smart Buildings Show

Smart Buildings Show 2022 has announced its eagerly anticipated conference programmme for the upcoming show at London’s ExCeL on October 12-13. BCIA President Graeme Rees will chair an engaging panel discussion on the subject of ‘Why the industry needs to work together now to address the issues of the future.’

The industry has huge challenges to overcome due to a dramatic rise in energy prices hitting commercial buildings hard. Furthermore, the skills shortage in the industry is of real concern and needs action fast. The panel will discuss how now, more than ever it is vital to work together to help shape the future of the industry, with a focus on how training and ongoing development is key to bringing the next generation into the industry via apprenticeships and T Levels.

Graeme will be joined by BCIA members, Wendy Belfield of InTandem Systems and Jen Vickers of Crown House Technologies together with industry partners Peter Behan from Group Horizon and Andy Reakes from JIB/ECS.

The panel discussion takes place on Wednesday 12 October at 13:00 – 13:45 in the Controls Theatre. Members of the BCIA will also be on stand A21 to answer all of your industry questions.

Smart Buildings Show is the UK’s only dedicated Smart Buildings exhibition and conference.
