BEMS NVQ at Richmond College

The BCIA has teamed up with Reflex Recruitment and Richmond-on-Thames College to offer the BEMS NVQ as part of a bespoke Apprenticeship programme.

The BEMS NVQ will be at the heart of this apprenticeship, with additional skills also being taught at the College.

Government funding is available to employers of apprentices, so this is an ideal opportunity for BCIA member companies to take on a young trainee.

BCIA President Steve Harrison says: “Reflex HR approached us with the idea, and we have been happy to support the initiative at Richmond College. We would encourage all controls companies to consider the idea of taking on an apprentice because our industry needs to invest in its future.”

Companies can find their own apprentices to register on the scheme; or uses the services of Reflex to help in their recruitment. Anyone interested in finding out more about the Apprenticeship should contact Reflex managing director Richard Dobell on
