Latest update from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

There’s a lot going on at the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and the BCIA is delighted to share with you the latest Trailblazer Update Newsletter.

The newsletter contains a round up of the latest news with a forward from Joanna Moonan who says: “As we move forwards with higher technical qualifications along with T levels and apprenticeships, it is even more important that we ensure we incorporate the views of employers.  Down the line, we anticipate having coherent maps of occupations and qualifications including apprenticeships that exist in sectors so that employers and learners can have a clear understanding of pathways and progression. We cannot get this right alone and your views on skills needs in your sector is at the heart of all of these developments.  Trailblazer groups are central to achieving this and we just wanted to take a moment to thank you for persevering through the pandemic and for continuing to do the work that we consider so vital to the recovery of the economy. Together we are ensuring that learners get the right, future-facing, skills to make a difference to business success.
