Stamp your mark on BCIA
New to the BCIA and interested in networking? Perhaps you’ve been a member for a while but would like to become more proactive with the work that BCIA do? The Working Groups offer a fantastic opportunity to get involved, one example being that members developed the new and highly sought after BEMS Performance Specification.
The BCIA holds a number of meetings throughout the year which are open to all members of the Association. Why not come along and see you for yourself on Wednesday 19thJune 2019. The Skills Working Group starts at 10:30 am and will provide an update on the Trailblazer EPA/Funding Band, training plan and new course development. The group will also discuss the development of new suite of BEMS Controls Engineers Cards (ECS) as well as the Young Engineers’ Network. Download the full Skills agenda here.
Following the lunch break, the Marketing Working Group kicks off at 1:45. To help raise the profile of the Association and its members, website update suggestions are welcome, discussion of current and new member benefits along with event and partnership tradeshows ideas. What’s more, promotion surrounding Market Information Service figures with a view to encouraging more contributions will be key alongside discussion on the BCIA social event on November 20.
