BCIA will attend CIBSE’s Build2Perform (B2P) conference and exhibition this year, taking place at ExCeL London on 5th-6th December. BCIA will be exhibiting on stand 437.
The event will bring together leading experts, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, academics and more to discuss the latest news surrounding the built environment across the following key themes:
Delivering Net Zero and Adapting to Climate Change
Hydrogen, Heating and Heat Pumps for Net Zero
Electrical services for a Zero Carbon Environment
Adopting Digital Tools and Smart and Secure Technologies
Implementing the Building Safety Reform programme
Health and Wellbeing
CIBSE is the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and is the official non-profit association with a Royal Charter representing the Building Services industry in the UK. Its mission is to promote best practice in building services engineering by providing first class information and education services (training). It has a membership of over 21,000 members in 97 countries around the world and its members belong to a global network offering professional support and expertise and working in partnership with other professional bodies, construction and engineering firms worldwide. The B2P event will cover all aspects of building performance focusing on energy efficiency, heating and ventilation, lighting, public health, commissioning and facilities management. This event also sees any surplus reinvested in activities so it’s not a commercial exhibition.
CIBSE has advised it expects an audience of around 2,000 across seven theatres, including three CPD theatres, and a full programme of speaker sessions. The audience is predominantly architects, designers and specifiers but they also attract contractors and installers of HVAC, Fire Safety, Façades and Lighting equipment in the UK market. These senior executives have decision-making authority on the specification, design and purchase of equipment and services in this sector.
BCIA President Graeme Rees said: “We are excited to be attending CIBSE’s Build2Perform event in December. The event promises to cover topics of huge importance in the UK’s mission to meet its Net Zero targets. We look forward to meeting with members and non-members alike to discuss more about what the BCIA is doing to engage with key industry players and create a more sustainable built environment.”
There is still time to register here and attending as a delegate is free of charge.
Exhibition stand spaces are also available with CIBSE open to partnership approaches where two or three companies share a stand where there is a complementary message or partnership approach in place.
