The Skills Working Group is a central resource for the BCIA on all skills development issues.  Powered by volunteers, the Skills Working Group is a forum for developing a balanced BCIA view on key skills development issues; they are a group for drafting BCIA skills development guidance; they provide BCIA input to skills development documents from other organisations, national education initiatives or BCIA sections; and they are charged with promoting skills development amongst BCIA Members at all levels (vocational, academic and continuing professional development).

Open to representatives in BCIA member companies only.

  • Overseeing the Experienced Worker Assessment pilot through to launch

  • Exploring a veterans pathway into the industry

  • Scoping non-technical training for industry professionals
