BCIA boosts position as leading association for the building controls industry with seven new members
The BCIA has welcomed seven new members to the organisation in late 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, building on its position as the UK’s leading association for the building controls sector. The joining companies are SysCon Limited, Electrical Concepts, P A Collacott & Co, Demma Group, adi Intelligent Buildings, Drake Controls and Energy Controls Solutions.
The BCIA aims to promote the use of building controls as a key factor in the operational efficiency of buildings. Its members span the full range of companies operating in the building controls and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) sector, including system integrators and manufacturers. On behalf of its members, the BCIA has built strong relationships with the trade press, other Associations and the Government.
Members have exclusive access to the BCIA Market Information Service (MIS), which provides unique data on the UK controls industry for BCIA members. Its latest report revealed the sector to be worth more than £835M to the UK economy in 2022, an 8% increase from 2021. BCIA membership also includes free membership of the Federation of Environmental Trades Association (FETA).
