Leading Edge announced as new Market Information Service provider

The BCIA has announced Leading Edge, a specialist in Construction Market Research, as the new provider of its Market Information Service (MIS), following the retirement of Alan Ranson.

The MIS analysis of the market lets members see trends, market growth and segmentation and can be used to support business development plans and evaluation. Originally established in 1991 and reporting in its current format since 2004, there has effectively been one MIS provider in the form of brothers Fred Ranson, who retired in 2014, and since then Alan Ranson.

Leading Edge is a market research consultancy focusing on the construction, building products and environmental sectors. Its key services include market research and analysis, market insights and customer satisfaction surveys. The company has a detailed knowledge of the construction industry from operational experience and from completing hundreds of research projects in the sector. Leading Edge will be providing the service from Q1 2023 onwards.

The MIS helps us keep track of what is going on in the building controls sector and is a very useful benefit of BCIA membership.”
