Complete the BCIA Policy Survey – deadline extended to Friday 1st September

Raising awareness of the value of building controls and placing controls at the heart of policy making discussions came out loud and clear as the key requirement of BCIA from its members over the next 2-3 years.

So, in order to help the BCIA strengthen its position with government, raise awareness of the benefits of building controls, and position the industry as key to decarbonising buildings, Gemserv (appointed to support with this work) is conducting a survey of BCIA members.

An analysis of the data gathered within the survey will be used to develop key evidence-based messaging for stakeholders and specifically in discussions with government and their agencies. The information within the survey will support the BCIA’s messaging and so positioning for influencing policy development.

There has been a good response so far. However, Germserv is keen to get full representation from the membership so that a more holistic picture of the industry can be communicated to stakeholders, such as policymakers. Therefore, we are aiming for all members to contribute to the survey.

The work will be key to building a relationship with government and other influential stakeholders.

The deadline for the survey has been extended until Friday 1st of September to allow as many members to respond as possible.

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete. We would greatly appreciate your response as soon as you can.
