Market Information Service – a robust source of market intelligence

The BCIA is encouraging its member companies to get greater value from the Market Information Service (MIS) reports by contributing to, accessing and sharing the Market reports with colleagues in their organisation. Free access to the MIS is a unique service available only to BCIA members. Market figures are gathered and analysed exclusively for members and are not available elsewhere.

The MIS reports let BCIA members see trends, market growth and segmentation in the BEMS industry. The reports are produced quarterly and provide a robust source of market intelligence and enable BCIA members to remain informed, prepared and in a position to support business development plans and grow the Building Controls market.

There are benefits to contributing to the report, as members who provide their sales data receive a comprehensive report and Excel document, whilst members that do not contribute will only receive a scaled-back version of the report.

The MIS reports are provided by independent consultancy Leading Edge, a specialist in Construction Market Research. The company has a detailed knowledge of the construction industry from operational experience and from completing hundreds of research projects in the sector.

All contributions to the reports are securely held and processed by Leading Edge and are not shared with BCIA.  It is not possible for other members to identify any company that has contributed data.
